This Payment Policy explains the payment methods we accept, how payments are processed, and important information about fees, refunds, and chargebacks.

We accept payments through the payment options displayed at checkout, including Shopify Payments and any other methods enabled on our checkout page. Available methods may include major credit/debit cards and other supported payment options shown during checkout.
Payment Processing
When you place an order, you authorize our payment processor(s) to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout. Orders are processed only after payment is successfully authorized and confirmed.
Currency
All prices and payments are processed in the currency shown at checkout.
Pricing Transparency and No Optional Fees
We are committed to transparent pricing:
- The total amount you pay (including any applicable taxes, if required) is displayed clearly at checkout before you complete payment.
- We do not add hidden charges or optional fees after checkout.
Taxes
Where applicable by law, taxes may be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Any taxes (if applicable) will be shown before you confirm your order.
Order Confirmation
After successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us at support@puppylike.com.
Refunds
If a refund is approved according to our Returns & Refund Policy, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout (for example, via Shopify Payments). We do not refund to a different card/account.
Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days after approval and, if applicable, after we receive and inspect the returned item. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3–10 business days to post the refund to your account.
Payment Provider Fees for Cancellations/Refunds
In some cases, third-party payment processors or banks may charge processing fees that are non-refundable, even when a transaction is refunded. This may affect the refundable amount in certain situations because payment providers may retain their processing charges.
Fraud Prevention
To protect customers and prevent fraud, we may perform reasonable verification checks. If we suspect an order is fraudulent or unauthorized, we may cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.
Chargebacks
If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us first at support@puppylike.com. Chargebacks can delay resolution and may result in additional verification requests. We will work with you to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.
